Benefits AcroLexic 2.0 will be of great assistance for translators, linguists, technical writers, and everybody dealing with the text documents on a daily basis. The dictionary enables quick look ups of acronym definitions from different areas of knowledge and provides results in convenient format. Main features Database contains 70 000+ acronyms and more than 150 000 definitions. Incremental search (typing the necessary acronym in the program window) and quick search (using shortcuts to get the definition of the selected acronym) are available. The rank (i.e. frequency of use) of each definition for the particular acronym is specified. Custom acronyms can be added as well as new definitions for the existing ones. Database of custom acronyms and abbreviations can be exported and imported. Shortcuts can be customized.
