The highly portable meter is compliant with DVB-C or ITU J.83 Annex A/C and ensures fast and accurate measurement of CATV signals. This analog/digital signal level meter is intended to test analog signal’s level, V/A, C/N, TILT and spectrum as well as QAM digital signal power, MER and BER. The optimized signal level meter, model 2008Q, performs accurate testing within a level range from 30dBuV to 120dBuV, and provides an accuracy of ± 1.5dB for MER testing and ±1.5/2.5dB for level testing. The signal level meter indicates testing mode (digital or analog), displays the video or audio carrier level and provides a bar-graph indicator for antenna peak level. The CATV signal level meter further offers preset channels that are programmable to store frequencies that are frequently used. Automatic power-off function is provided to save battery power.
