For instance, it splits real COM1 into virtual COM2, COM3, COM4 ports. To create a pure virtual ports pair you might also try VSPD XP. Here\'s a real-life example: A sale on a cash register is made. The cash register sends text via a serial port (COM1) to a computer. The software on the receiving computer takes the text from the serial port, and prints some of it to a video file. Using Serial Splitter one-to-many ports splitting, this information can be viewed from several computers or applications. Eltima Serial Splitter joins any number of COM ports into one serial port, allowing information from several devices to be received by a single application connected to the port at the OUT side of the bundle. For example: 100 websites are hosted on 100 computers. Via null modem a certain data is delivered from these computers to a PC with a microcontroller. On this PC Eltima Serial Splitter joins com-ports and sends all dataflow to a one virtual serial port. Single application receives and represents all information about the status of a 100 server hosts simultaneously.Serial Splitter makes it possible to organize complex bundles of COM-ports. Using it you can establish connection between any number of real, virtual or both kinds of serial ports in either incoming or outgoing direction. Besides rs232 data transmission, Serial Splitter gives the option to set Main Port for each side (IN/OUT) to manage control lines of a corresponding serial port. Once you have set your markers, you can make a polyline, linking the markers in any order you want, presenting a route or itinerary. Please note, that this plugin is provided \"as is\", with no support from our part. It is an in-house modification to a Joomla plugin, powering the site Bad Wolf Routes. TimeTools GPS Clock Software is a freeware utility that runs on any Windows NT/2000/XP/2003 workstation or server. The software polls time from a standard NMEA GPS receiver connected to the host PC\'s serial port and optionally allows time to be synchronised on the host PC. The GPS clock utility polls GPRMC messages from a standard NMEA GPS receiver. It shows information received from the GPS receiver such as time, date, gps status, number of satellites in view, longitiude and latitude information. The utility also displays NMEA sentances as they are tranmitted by the GPS receiver. The GPS clock utility can also update the system time of the host PC with GPS time. Note however, time synchronisation can only be acheived to the nearest second. Standard NMEA GPS devices do not have a pulse per second output that can be utilised by the serial port of a PC. Therefore, the microsecond accuracy that is available from TimeTools GPS T1000 and T2000 GPS timing receivers is not available with this software. Download.
