The choice of weapons has been enriched with new items. The weapon upgrades become available over time to increase firepower and damage inflicted. New bonus types, like SatelliteStrike, Annihilator and Bomber help passing through particularly difficult missions and levels. The game features a total of 20 levels – seventeen regular and three bonus ones, available after the enemy boss has been destroyed. The game features excellent graphics, great special effects, catchy original soundtrack and engaging, thought difficult, gameplay. DivoGames and Sahmon Studio releases AstroAvenger Astronauts wanted. AstroAvenger is a new spectacular space scroller with a strategy twist. This 3D shooter comes with 50 levels split into 5 different galaxies. The player starts out with a regular spaceship and upgrades it after each level is completed. The money is earned by destroying enemies and can be spend on upgrading weapons, battery or armor. Additional ammunition (five types of rockets and bombs) can be purchased as well. AstroAvenger gameplay is brain-dead simple at first glance ? simply shoot everything in sight, while dodging enemy fire. But since most game elements are interconnected (for example, new weapons consume more energy and thus require a battery upgrade to be used for any prolonged period of time), actions taken in the beginning of the game are sure to influence how situation unfolds in the future. An unbalanced strategy ? pumping up weapons or armor only ? is not likely to take the player far. The final level of each galaxy ends with a ?boss? ? alien monster that is twenty times as powerful as other alien spaceships. Killing the boss takes a lot of energy, dexterity, wit and ?gun craft?. AstroAvenger is likely to be warmly greeted by both 3D shooter and space scroller aficionados.
