Toronto, Canada - GAO Research Inc. (www.GAOResearch.com) is offering its T.38 Fax Relay Software. It allows the transfer of facsimile documents in real-time between two standard Group 3 facsimile terminals over the Internet or other networks using IP protocols.

This T.38 fax relay software is fully compliant with ITU-T T.38 fax relay specification and supports V.17, V.29, V.27ter, V.21ch2 standards. When integrated and tested with fax data modems, it provides operating data rates of up to 14.4 kbps. It also offers re-entrant implementation which is optimized for multi-channel support on a single DSP and a "spoofing" function to prevent jitter, delay or lost packets. In addition, this T.38 fax relay software supports UDP and TCP.
