Integrated Data Transmission Analyzer
Toronto, Canada – GAO Comm (www.GAOComm.com) has announced the release of its integrated data transmission analyzer which is used for measuring the error rate of data communication systems and for the analysis of line faults and their causes in the routine maintenance testing of 2 M systems and N×64 k communication channels. It is an ideal tool for testing access networks, transmission networks, and digital data networks.
This easy-to-operate data transmission analyzer, model A0040006, features a handheld design with lanyard, auto configuration and multi-task operation. It performs online error code testing, 2 MB/s non-framing error code performance testing, 2 MB/s framing N×64 kbit/s channel error code performance testing, alarm testing, frequency offset testing, signal level and frequency testing of voice channels, audio frequency testing, loop circuit time lag testing and automatic protection switching time testing (APS). The analyzer also conducts column diagram analysis of alarms and error codes, time slot content analysis and G.821/G.826/M.2100 error code performance analysis. As many as 9 test settings and 20 groups of test results can be stored. The analyzer communicates with a computer for test data storage and analysis and can be directly connected to a micro printer. In addition, it is powered by a 4000 mAh, 6 V nickel-hydrogen rechargeable battery allowing for more than 8 hours of continuous operation.
This easy-to-operate data transmission analyzer belongs to GAO’s family of E1 BER Testers. Other models in this line include Multi-functional E1 Service Tester, SDH/PDH Transmission Analyzer, E1/T1 BER Tester and Data Transmission Analyzer and other similar products. This line of products offers GAO’s customers valuable choices.
