This Alcatel compatible 1000Base-T SFP transceiver, model C012P101, provides up to 1.25 Gbps bi-directional data links. It boasts a maximum transmission distance of up to 100 m over unshielded twisted pair (UTP) Category 5 Cable and provides standard serial ID information which can be accessed with address of A0h via the 2-wire serial CMOS EEPROM protocol. It is compliant with SFP Multi-Source Agreement (MSA) specification and supports1000 Mbps full duplex data-links with 5-level Pulse Amplitude Modulation (PAM) signals. In addition, it has RJ-45 connector and the 1000Base-T physical laser IC can also be accessed via 2-wire serial bus at address Ach.

This Alcatel compatible 1000Base-T SFP transceiver belongs to GAO’s family of Alcatel compatible transceivers.
